Mobile phones have really changed our life style. We are connected with each other throughout the world with the help of a mobile phone. Whether a person is in train, bus or in an aircraft, he is connected with the world as good as in his office or home. Thanks to mobile phone technology to bring a sea change in human life. Though mobile phone technology is not very old, but mobile phone has penetrated the world. Now mobile phones have their thousand models from single manufacturers with different battery model. There are hundreds of manufacturers of the world level.

Mobile phone battery is an important accessory of a phone. It acts like a heart in human body. Imagine if battery of a mobile phone get totally discharged. There is no alternate; of course, if battery source is accessible well otherwise, mobile phone becomes unwanted weight. While going to buy a mobile phone a user should look for quality of battery. A battery has a cathode, an anode connected with its body, which contains an electrolyte. These are not only the parts of the battery to be checked but there are several other aspects to be checked before placing an order.


The cathode and anode are metal strips, these strips have a normal tendency to react with moisture, and form oxidized substance. This substance is non-conductor, which blocks flow of the current to the mobile phone. All type of phones has such problem more or less depending upon quality of material used in making strips. Also as a precaution it is advised to keep mobile phone away from moisture.

As wide classification of batteries, mobile phone use dry battery. There is innumerable type of mobile phone battery, available in market. These batteries can be alkaline, lead acid, lithium dioxide, Nickel cadmium, lithium ion etc. Lithium batteries are mostly used in mobile phones. These are rechargeable type of batteries, which can be recharged by connecting it with a normal plug through a charger. These batteries are light in weight smaller in size than general-purpose batteries. And these batteries store very high-density charge. They have immunity from side effect memory and data transfer.


Enhancement in the capabilities of mobile phones facilitates the users to use it more and more for different applications. Obviously, then there is requirement of more power for the cell phone and finally whole load falls on battery. It becomes imperative for the users to be conversant with the precautions taken to protect their mobile phone battery.
