If you are using a subscription form on your website to collect leads for your auto responder you may have overlooked the importance of your thank you page and how you can profit from it.

If you don't know, this is the page that visitors are redirected to after they have entered their name and email address into the subscription form and subscribed to your opt in list.

By subscribing, these people have already indicated that they are interested in the information and they will be more likely to respond to a related offer, which is why thank you pages are well known for producing very high conversion rates.

So instead of using the default thank you page provided by the auto responder service you are using you should create a unique one time offer that your subscribers will be interested in buying.

This offer can be a collection of ebooks or software products that are related to your ezine or newsletter and you can sell them for a special discount price not available anywhere else.

If these products are of high quality and your offer provides real value the conversion rates will be high and you should be able to get over 50% of subscribers to complete the purchase.

Its possible to achieve even higher conversion rates if you create a unique product yourself, such as a special report or ebook that you have personally written.

If you want to create a special report you should aim to write at least 30 pages and sell it for between $17 and $47 (depending on the quality of the information you provide).

If the information is good and you are selling it for a low price, you will achieve the best possible conversion rates and maximise your profits.

Just remember to make the sales letter for your thank you page as compelling as possible and explain how your special report will benefit each subscriber and why they need it.

To create a sense of urgency you can limit the number of orders before the price increases or you can use a script to put a timer on the thank you page which will expire after a certain number of minutes that you specify (encouraging people to quickly order).
