Cheating Spouse - Clues Hidden In Their Phone

Let's face it, in modern times, a cheating spouse will usually use the phone to communicate with the other person as one of the primary ways of keeping contact when they are apart.

If you are suspicious of your spouse or partner of having an extramarital affair, their change in the way they use their phone can provide you with a lot of clues. Some subtle ones and some more obvious ones. The trick to expose those clues is to be very observant, without giving away the fact that you are on to them.

The following are some of the changes in his/her phone use you can expect to observe if you are dealing with an unfaithful spouse.

A new "ringer" - Sometimes, in an attempt to keep contact with a new lover, a cheating spouse will end up getting a new cell-phone and not mix it up with their existing one. He or she will typically make some flimsy excuse, such as work or business related, to explain the reason behind the new purchase. Unless you are aware of such a change in their life, it should alert your suspicions.

Security high alert - I have heard this from so many of my readers observing the same thing that I have lost count now. The funny thing is that by trying to protect their secret calls, the exact opposite is achieved by the cheater. Here's what it is. Have you noticed that while previously your spouse took no precaution to secure their cell-phone, all of a sudden they have installed a pin code lock so no one else can check the call history?

If you have noticed this sudden change, you should have alarm bells ringing as this is the typical behavior of someone who is cheating. The fact is that by attempting to keep the call history hidden from you, they have just ended up alerting you to the fact that there is actually something to hide.

There is no real reason, other than to hide something, that your average spouse is going to add a security layer to their cell.

Cryptic messages - Do you notice any changes in the way your spouse talks when they get certain calls when you are in the room? Typically you will notice two things if he/she is talking to the other person. One is the tone will become tense, as will the flow of words. You will notice a certain sense of hesitation in the voice. The second, is to watch out for subtle physical changes where they get fidgety while talking.

Call history - If you do have access, take a quick look through the call history, perhaps when your spouse is in the shower or out leaving his cell behind. Just take a quick note of numbers that you do not recognize. Once you have the numbers you can use the reverse look up services online, to find details of who has been calling.

But a strong word of caution. Use the above information with care. Do not start calling, harassing or threatening anyone. Use it to just get more clues and evidence which will help you when you do in the end confront your cheating spouse.
