Many observations show that there is a direct relationship between knowing and traveling. The thing is that people, who are fond of traveling, are more curios and active than those, who do not like to travel. For example, in the parks and squares, where there are some monuments of architecture or history. For example, Gettysburg is one of the places where one feels as well as feel history. If one watches the monument and reads some literature about the event, he would understand the actions of the event better.

The same can be said about geography, as it is very difficult to realize the beauty of many geographical places in the world without seeing them in reality. For example, reading about Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona or about huge heads of four presidents: Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt at Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota; one can hardly imagine their real sizes and beauty without watching them really. How can we imagine the real noise and size of Niagara Falls between New York and the province Ontario without visiting them?

Except seeing those places in reality, one can see the different way of life. People are interested in many aspects of life: sociology, history, geography. They visit a lot of different places to see everything they study. For example, those, who are interested in history visit museums; those who prefer space travel can visit NASA facilities at Houston, Alabama and Cape Kennedy. For those, who are more inclined about arts, it is preferable to visit art museums and galleries.

So, students of nature have possibilities of every kind to satisfy their desire of knowledge. There are a lot of places which are worth visiting and looking at them in reality, rather than just reading about them and watching on TV.
