I hope you are getting excited now because it is time to create your very first home based business website. You will be designing your own site and filling it with affiliate links that will help you make a steady stream of cash every month. I am not a top notch super affiliate like a lot of these other business guru's out there but I am making a living working from home and I am willing to share with you just a few of the things that I implement on my website that continues to bring me money every month. I will include tips that will help you design your new home based business website with conversion ratio in mind for free.

In my research I looked at probably 10-20 (or more) different home based business websites that I knew was making money every month (not landing pages only sites listed in the top 10 when searching on Google for the keyword "home based business"). I looked at their designs and I read their html code and I was seeing how their web pages were set up so I could recreate it because I wanted to have the same success. I did not copy their pages but I did get several ideas from their websites and you should do the same. The thing I use to read most especially if you are involved with affiliate marketing is ad placement. Now to give you an idea of what I have learned from reading these articles is you are always told to place your Google ads top to right and right to bottom for the best conversion ratio. I am currently doing that and I have to say that it is paying off. It will also depend on what affiliate programs you are wanting to promote and what the pay out is going to be that should determine exactly where to place your ads.

If you want to choose a color for your website then choose a color that is appealing to your customers. There are marketing company's that pay millions of dollars only to see how you react to certain colors. The biggest hamburger chain is yellow and red. Get my drift? These are all important when creating a website and believe me when you search on the internet for a "home based business" website you will see that they are not that all impressive but guess what they are on the top. Why is that exactly? Well I will explain that issue in future articles. What you need to concentrate on is the lay out first on how your website going to look on the web. I would keep building and looking at my website along with other home based business sites so that you understand exactly how it is going to be displayed to other potential buyers.

This is definitely a learning process and I never told you it would be easy. This is just an example that you can follow so that you may have some success that I am having. I will be putting all these articles in an e-book with more detailed information but for now they should get you through the tough parts or at least give you a great start. You can always visit my site and email me if you need help. The difference between me and other "get rich quick" company's is that I am for real and not some automated email response that never truly answers any of your questions. Visit my site and email me if you want to. I am loaded with info and I am willing to help you the best way I can.

This is Part 3 of many articles to come in regards to Starting a Home Based Business so please be looking for future articles when I will be writing about What Affiliate Programs Are Best For Me. That is the next step that needs to be taken after you get an idea of how to set up a website.

To Your Success,
Aaron Jones
