Asthma

Lemon acts as an antiseptic. So make an impromptu mouthwash using naturally squeezed lemon juice and then gargle it straight

from the bottle. Rinse then swallow. The citric acid in the juice will alter the pH level in your mouth, killing the bacteria


that cause bad breath. Make sure you rinse after a few minutes. This is because long-term exposure to the acids in lemons can

harm your tooth enamel.

Bleeding / Bleeding gums
Try swilling your mouth with warm honey, lemon and water (use lemon, a cup of water and 1 teaspoon of honey.

Constipation
Squeeze a whole lemon into a mug of hot water a half-hour before breakfast. Don't drink anything else for at least half an

hour. Then take it at night before you go to sleep.

Corns
Apply lemon juice to your corns 3 times a day. At night, before you go to bed, apply the rind of the lemon with a binding or

plaster to cover it and hold it against the skin overnight.

Cuts and bruises
Lemon is nature's antiseptic. Just rub a little juice or peel over small wounds.


Dandruff
Massage 2 tablespoons lemon juice into your scalp and rinse with water. Then stir a teaspoon of lemon juice into a cup of

water and rinse your hair with it. Shampoo afterwards, wash it again and apply lemon juice to remove the soap from your hair

and scalp.

Ears
Squeeze out 200 grams of lemon juice and 50mgs of mustard oil. Heat them in a bowl until there's only oil left. Put this in a

small bottle and keep in the fridge. Put a couple of drops in your ear to ease pain.

Gout
This happens when you get too much uric acid in your blood and tissue so that urine crystallizes in the joints. Lemon juice

prevents this by helping your body form calcium carbonate, which neutralizes the acids in the body. This includes uric acid

causes attacks of gout. After each meal you should drink the juice of one lemon in a mug of lukewarm water.

Headache
Add 3 teaspoons of lemon juice to hot tea or rub a slice of lemon against your temples and forehead.

Liver spots
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a cup. Use a cotton bud to rub in into liver spots or freckles twice daily each day

for six weeks.

Nosebleeds
Dip a cotton bud into some diluted lemon juice and dab the inside of your nostril. The will help seal the small broken

vessels by tightening the delicate nasal membrane.

Poison Ivy rash
You won't need an ocean of calamine lotion the next time poison ivy comes a-creeping around. Apply lemon juice directly to

the affected area to soothe itching and alleviate the rash.

Prickly heat
Knock back a drink of cool, freshly squeezed lemon juice throughout the day.

Scaly elbows
Mix baking soda and lemon juice into a rough paste. Rub the paste into your elbows. This makes for a soothing, smoothing, and

exfoliating treatment. Try it once a day until symptoms disappear.

Sore throat
Squeeze one lemon and mix the juice with 1 cup of hot water. Gargle three times a day.

Spots
Take a teaspoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and one of salt. Mix them into a paste and apply them to

your spots.

Stings
Dab some pure lemon juice on those pesky wasp and bee stings to relieve the pain and inflammation.

Warts
Rub some lemon juice directly to the wart with a cotton swab. If you do this for several days the acids in the lemon juice

can begin to dissolve the wart.
