How do you know what is a scam designed to get you to cough up your money and what is a legitimate "Business Opportunity" when searching for a workable home business on the net?
There are many "Scams" on the Internet, we all know those emails "Make $2,000,000 in the next 6 months" are scams but it amazes me how many people will be taken in by them.
So how do we protect ourselves from all the rubbish on the net when you just want to make an honest buck?
The key is "Accountability", if the website has a contact page make sure the email works and is not just an auto responder. I remember when I started out online I joined a program (mention no names!) and had referred about five people, so I logged into my account to find no members under me. When I emailed the admin I had an auto responder email back saying we are aware of the problem and are looking into it.
So I thought I would try this out so I sent an email asking if the site would be up for sale and the reply? You guessed it! "We are aware of the problem and are looking into it".
So what we need to look for are sites that have a working email address and the owner responds in a reasonable time to any query.
Another good sign is the presence of a phone number and a physical address on the site, this all adds to the owners "credibility" Scam artists don't want you to know anything about them, Legitimate business owners do.
There are many home business directories and opportunities online but the very best I have found is http//:www.Ebook-Millionaire.com/pips.html you get a money making site set up for you FREE and you can contact the site owner anytime you like and he will always get back to you, there is even a support forum with thousands of members ready to help you out.
