American Idol fans are very familure with Chris Daughtry and I think most of America will be soon as well. Chris is a rising star in the world of music with a distinct sound that fits well with 80's rock to modern rock and alternative rock.

Recently on March 1st he totally stole the show from his fellow contestants, (with the song Hemorrhage originally by Fuel), and he did so by doing the following.

1. He was "true to himself" unlike other contestants that tried to "show flexibility" he did not attempt to go into a niche of music that wasn't him.

2. He held nothing back at all and put 100% of his focus into delivering the song with power and ambition.

3. He was not afraid to take risks, unlike many contestants who picked what can be called "safe songs" that were easy to deliver well, Chris picked a tough demanding song that required excellence from him.

In return he got what have up to date been the top three compliments from the judges...

1. Judge Randy Jackson stated, "That could be your song on the radio right now and it would be number one".

2. Judge Paula Abdul stated simply, "Do you even know how good you are".

3. Judge Simon Cowell (know for being tough) stated, "You are now the standard to which every other contestant here aspires".

Chris Daughtry Fans and in fact anyone can learn a lot from this formula. This is not just a formula about music but one for life in general. Those who achieve the most in life always, are true to themselves, hold nothing back and are willing to take risks that average people shun.
