Not everyone is in great physical shape. Not because of a lack of exercise or physical activity but because they can't control what they eat. Little do people know that a slight change in what they eat can change their body composition for the better and boost their confidence. Below are some eating tips that will assist anyone with getting into better shape.

1. Drink skim or reduced fat milk. Whole milk has a lot of fat that you don't need, also whole milk and the lower fat milks have similar tastes.

2. Drink more water and less soda and juice. Sugar is what makes people fat. Just a few ounces of soda or juice has a lot of sugar. Water also help keeps you hydrated.

3. Try no to eat anything with lots of sugar after 7pm. Sugar makes people fat, so you should try to have as little of it in your system as possible at your bedtime.

4. Eat wheat products. Wheat can be burned faster than the carbohydrates in white bread products.

5. Purchase and eat baked items rather than fried goods. Food manufacturers make many products in baked form like chips and crackers.

6. Buy a George Foreman Grill. It will allow you to grill many tasty items while draining all of the fat away.

Follow the six tips listed above and you will be well on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
