The highly capable Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman music phone comes in a super stylish vinyl black colored casing with a measurement of 109mm x 55mm x16mm. The music phone is a 3G capable handset with high speed technology and the highest quality music features that make it really stunning. The handset with a massive 8 Gbytes of memory is capable of storing upto eight thousand songs. The slender 3G music phone has a highly useable touch screen that allows the user to control the music and messaging features on the screen. This model handset from Sony Ericsson supports MP3, polyphonic and AAC ringtones that could provide the user with a wide choice of sound on the handset.


The handset comes with 3G technology that provides the user with 3G video calling and multitasking on the music phone. The phone comes with Bluetooth® technology, WLAN and USB, that provides the user with a selection of connectivity options on the handset. The user can comfortably connect the handset to compatible devices to transfer and download files using either a wireless connection using Bluetooth® technology or a cabled connection using a USB cable. The handset comes with a battery that will provide up to 400 hours of standby time from a fully charged battery and approximately 9 hours of talk time depending on the technologies used.

The Sony Ericsson W960i model handset comes with a variety of messaging service including a mobile email service, instant messaging service, multimedia messaging service and text messaging service. The user can comfortably send and receive emails from the handset making it too comfortable for the user. The instant messaging service allows the user to have an online chat with other contacts that are online, that works like the users PC instant messaging service apart from this service is mobile. The multimedia messaging service present in the handset allows the user to share photos or video footage with other MMS users quickly and easily. The user can take a phone call over the phones speakers that provide a handsfree call and allows the user to talk without holding the W960i to the ear throughout the duration of the call, thanks to the speakerphone facility.
