Emotions feelings grudges stuff. A vital quality you should master is the ability to LET IT GO! Release it. Otherwise you will quickly become overwhelmed.
All nouns in your life (that would be persons, places, and things) take energy (your verbs that indicate action). Energy is fed by your resources, whether great or small. Resources are things like time, capital, education, mental capacity etc.
It is important to give your time and energy to that which creates the greatest value. All too often people allow unnecessary activities to consume their energy- energy that could have, and should have, been spent elsewhere. Simply put, "You get too busy to do the things you should or want do."
One morning before I left for work, my 3 year-old daughter jumped up onto my lap and sweetly asked, "Daddy, you going to the office?"
"Yes honey."
"You be right back," she said.
"No. I'm sorry sweetheart but this time I'm going for a long trip. I'll be back in a couple of weeks," I told her.
Then, looking down with the saddest look you ever did see, she said, "okay daddy."
Take some time out to assess your life and your business. What things are consuming your energy? Can you LET IT GO? The same applies to material belongings. Could your life be "weighed down?" Inspect your closet and throw out anything you haven't used in six months. Got a garage stuffed to the rafters with junk? Throw it out! Do away with anything in your life that's unnecessary.
Don't allow stress to control your life. LETTING GO will free up space in your life for what's really important.
