Anger is an intuitive reaction to a stimulus .It is a hand also hand –me –down from our prehistoric ancestors who had to fight for their survival. Anger is not a harmful emotion when appropriately expressed .It is only human to get upset and to express our feelings. Controlling anger at the right time and in the right degree.

Society view anger as a negative emotion. We therefore, try to cover it up by withdrawing socially, sulking or even getting physically. Hidden anger creates havoc with our system .Psychologists attribute the violence of some serial killers to repressed anger. Unsavory incidents experienced in childhood could cause anger to be buried deep down in a person’s subconscious. There are various ways according to which we all can control our anger. Breathe deeply from the diaphragm, simultaneously repeated a calming phrase such as “I am cool and calm”, Visualize a relaxing experience.



The main important is that daily the work on anger should be done by changing your self-talk .Anger folks curse, talk loudly; exaggerate their problems as being “terrible”. If you are at the receiving end of a you are at the receiving end of an unfair action, say to yourself, “This is frustrating but, let’s face it, the world won’t come tumbling down “. Or better still, “All this will not seem so important a while from now. It should be remembered that displaying temper tantrums will not get your work done

.Rather , handling others in a firm and assertive manner is more likely to have positive results and will keep your self-respect intact .Anger people imagine they are always right and try to command others .Use words like ,” I would like you to…”, “Please ...”, rather than “I demand that you…” Introspect and think what events in your childhood could have caused you to overreact. Lastly, work assiduously towards controlling your anger, rather than letting yourself be consumed by it.
