What is acne?

1. Wear loose breathable fabrics such as cotton.
2. Wash the affected area daily in a gentle manner, making sure to use a mild soap.
3. Avoid actions which will irritate the skin such as picking and scratching at the affected area.
4. Add a 50/50 water vinegar rinse to your wash cycle. This will help remove perspiration and soap residue that begins to build up on the fibers of your clothing.
5. Always use sunscreen when going outdoors.
6. Eat a diet rich in antioxidants to combat the environmental hazards your skin encounters daily.
7. Drink plenty of water.
8. Take a bath using Dead Sea salts. The salts are rich in sulfur, a mineral known for treating acne.
