As promised in previous articles, here are some more of Cameron’s principles to live by. Reading these, you can see how he’s been so successful at such a young age!

Principle #5
Balance Work with Life
Starting your own business can be very time and life consuming. Be sure to create a distinction between work and your personal life. When with his friends, he never discussed business. None of his friends even knew he was as successful as he was until major magazines started featuring articles about him.

Principle #8
Don’t Be Afraid to Negotiate
When you’re faced with a tough negotiation, go in with complete confidence. Smart Entrepreneurs know that it pays to be generous which is not to be confused with weakness. Trust yourself, your knowledge and your skills to work a favorable outcome to your negotiation.

Principle #10
Adapt or Die
Stay in touch with what’s going on, not only in your business field but in the world. Technology is changing at incredible speeds and it’s more critical now than ever to learn to quickly adapt.

Principle #12
Seek Out New Knowledge Everyday
Be on a constant lookout for new opportunities to learn. The best knowledge you can find comes from your own personal experiences – seek out opportunities that you can learn from. Parents beware. Be sure to teach your children about money because no one else will.

Principle #13
Use the Power of the Press
If you recognize early that media and its form of word of mouth advertising is extremely powerful, you will be ahead of the game. Use it to your advantage. Be strategic in your public relations promotions. They can be extremely valuable in accelerating your growth.

Principle #14
Stick to your Guns
If you feel strongly and passionately about something – stick to your guns. Do not let anyone persuade you otherwise. Live the life YOU want - not a life someone else wants for you.

Principle #16
Never Underestimate the Value of Your Customers
Create a culture of top-quality customer service. Have a clear understanding of the lifecycle sales value of your customer and the power of referral opportunities through word of mouth advertising. Stay in touch and follow-up with your customers – earn their respect and you will earn their business.

Principle #18
Remember What it’s Really All About
Having successful businesses and making money is great but what life is really about is – having a great balanced life. Express your creativity in the art of creating businesses on the canvas of the business world. It’s about knowing that your business has made the world a better place in some way.

Principle #19
Be the Entrepreneur YOU Want to Be
Whatever business venture you take on - new or existing - it’s important to have fun doing what you’re doing, otherwise what’s the point in continuing to do it? Anyone can be an entrepreneur! Believe in yourself! Follow YOUR Dreams. Find your passion and just do it. It’s never too late or too soon to start a successful business!
