In between November to January is the best time to visit Mali. Mali has variety of attractive places for the visitors like Timbuktu and its sandy masteries, Niger river(you can go for a boating in the wavy Niger). You just fall in love with the giant sized mud-built mosques, lots of camel caravans across the desert.
Bamako:
Bamako located in the south-west part of the country. It is the largest city and also the capital of Mali. Djenne is a very small island city in Bani river. Largest mud brick structure is situated here which is also very unique Muslims architecture ever made.
Bandiagara/Dogon
Bandiagara is sandy plateau situated in the south-east of Mopti and popular for its sandstone cliffs. The Dogon inhabitants are build up their villages by sandstone cliff which is run for about 200km.
