The eBay Income You’re Looking For Is In Your Own Backyard

Selling on eBay has now become one of the most common types of home based business and a lot of people have found it to be particularly lucrative. On the other hand, probably just as many (or more) unsuspecting individuals have gotten involved with one of those fly-by-night, get rich quick schemes being touted all over the internet.

Deciding what merchandise to offer is complicated enough without worrying that you’re going to be taken advantage of or lay out a lot of money for product that doesn’t sell. Even the most honest and above board MLMers (multi-level marketers) may not be the right business associates for you. Plus, all too often sourcing product that way is impersonal and, unless you are fortunate enough to have a Upline that has the time to teach you a great selling technique, you’ll find yourself just one of many trying to sell the exact same thing.

There’s a totally different road to take that affords great opportunity and a chance to sell unique, distinctive products on line. That is, to become a BUSINESS TRADING ASSISTANT and make a living working with local businesses. Unlike the little recreational selling you might do to clean out the attic it affords the chance to make money on an ongoing basis. Additionally, it means working with real people, real businesses and products you can see up close and personal before you sign on.

This is not a short term business proposition either. Right now there are millions of dollars in unsold inventory sitting in the warehouses of your local stores. That’s right, many small and mid-size companies near you have excess product to sell. These businesses can be as small as the Glassware shop that imports unique pieces from Europe or as large as the multi-location company that recycles computer equipment.

I can almost hear you asking “Why do they need me?” Although companies are always looking to increase revenues and broaden their marketplace exposure, the majority of local businesses have never thought about selling their inventory (excess or regular stock) on eBay. In fact, even those among the many that are just now starting to become aware of eBay don’t have the time or staff to even look into the opportunity.

That's where you come in! And it’s going to be easier than you think.

Here are just three ways you can build a home-based business as a Business Trading Assistant:

1. Contract with a local company to set up their eBay store and auctions, then handle the actual selling of their products, receiving a commission on everything you move.

2. Position yourself as the person who can take excess inventory off their hands by buying it outright for a flat fee. In this instance, you would be acting as a close-out company for the local business.

3. Charge a flat fee to teach a company’s employees how to set up an eBay ID and eBay store, as well as how to sell the company's products on eBay.

There is a tremendous opportunity in being a home-based Business Trading Assistant and each of these models is designed to help you make money whether you choose to pursue your eBay business on a part time or full time basis. With only a few clients you can ensure yourself a steady stream of income. Plus the upside once those satisfied customers start referring you to others in your area, is endless!
