Do your research before you write anything. You are looking for the keywords and keyword phrases that people are using to find your information. There are several free keyword tools available on the internet to help you find the words that are right for you and receive the most searches every day. You may be surprised at what you find. The goal is to find keywords and keyword phrases that are being searched for daily that also have not been written about extensively or overused. This will change over time, so be prepared to continue doing research as you market your eBook. Some people even change their title completely and release their writing using a title that attracts more readers.
These same keywords and phrases are the ones you will use in your headlines and sub-headlines when you write your sales letter. You want people to be able to find your topic by searching for the words and phrases you have used in your sales copy. Write down some titles and headlines and ask people you know to look at them. Ask them what comes to mind when they read each one. What you interpret a headline to mean and what someone else thinks it means will be two radically different things.
The more you write, the easier this entire process will become. Practice makes perfect, even though you are not seeking perfection. The idea is to refine your writing each time you make changes so that your results will continue to improve over time.
I encourage you to learn more about how to write titles and headlines that will help you to sell more eBooks.
