Make a list of keywords and phrases relating to your topic. Use one of the free keyword selector tools to find the keywords that best describe what you are writing about and that also receive the most searches on the major search engines.
Narrow this list down to about 8-10 categories that are the most relevant. Choose the ones that you know you will be able to write about regularly.
This list of categories will become the chapters of your ebook. Make notes about each one so that you will have fresh content to blog about for each one.
Search for other blogs that specialize in each of the categories you have chosen. Visit these blogs regularly to get ideas, connect with the owner of the blog, and to leave comments. These blog writers are all possible joint venture partners for you in the future.
Make an outline for your ebook, using your categories as your chapter titles. Write down everything you will want to include in each chapter of your ebook. Now write blog posts regularly on each idea you have written down.
Over time you will have written much of your ebook. You will be able to search by category on your blog to pull up the posts you have written in each area. You can then organize your posts into your ebook. After a couple of months of regular blogging your ebook will be ready to come together so that you can sell it online and position yourself as an expert.
