When writing your ebook or articles you must find your own voice. What I mean by this is that you must write in a way that is natural for you and does not sound like someone else. People will be more open to your writing if you write the way that comes easily for you. Here are 7 tips on how to find your unique voice.

Write like you talk. If you write in a conversational tone it will be easier for you to write and also more enjoyable for others to read.

Write a short story or essay about something you enjoy. Read it after you have finished writing it and see how it feels to read it. Read it aloud and see if it sounds like it was written by you.

Do not try to imitate someone else's writing style. It will be impossible to maintain this different style and finally writing will become a chore instead of something you enjoy.

Read as much as you can. Avid readers are always better writers. Reading will help you get a feel for what you want to say when you write and how you want others to be able to perceive it.

Start with blog posts and articles first. Spend some time writing shorter pieces before you take on a bigger project, such as an ebook or novel. As you get used to writing on a daily basis you will be able to expand your focus onto a much larger scale.

Allow others to read what you have written. Receiving feedback from others is a good way to see if you are getting your message across. You may be surprised at what others will tell you after reading an essay or an article by you. Sometimes people will perceive what we write in a completely different way.

Stay true to what you want to do with your writing. Do not allow others to convince you to write about something you are not interested in or in a format you are not comfortable with.

Make sure that you know your audience well so that you can write for them. Finding your voice means finding the right way to share your message with your audience.
