HOW TO START AND WHAT TO SELL

At the outset, don’t worry about investing any money in this business. It costs nothing to start. Many people have no idea what products to sell and how to do this. Should they physically stock the products themselves or promote other companies through affiliate programs? Frankly, this will be a waste of you time. The best advice is – forget MLM and affiliate marketing. Instead, try the drop shipping business. Do some homework for yourself by googling terms like dropshipping, dropshippers, dropship etc. You are bound to get a tone of information. Don’t buy any lists or pay for any dropshipping until you have done the homework. Once you are satisfied you want to test the waters, do the following:

1) Register/open an account with an Internet Auction site like Global Bid Store. Please shop around as some of them have fees while other have minimal or no fees at all.
2) Find a distributor who will "drop ship" the products you want to sell.
3) Open an account with the "drop ship" distributor(s) you choose.
4) You will receive/get access to descriptions and images of the products you wish to sell from the distributor and list them on the auction site. Listing the product on the auction is easy: Have both the drop ship website and the auction website open (i.e. login to your accounts on both sites):
a) Right click the product image on drop ship site and save it on your desktop;
b) Copy and paste the product description on the auction site;
c) Upload the product image from your desktop to the auction;
d) Include the shipping costs.
e) List as many products as you can.
You are done. The Auction Management will do the marketing for the auction. Just wait for the e-mail notification that you have made a sale.
5) When a customer buys from your auction account, they pay with their credit card or Paypal. The auction charges their credit card or paypal account plus shipping.
6) You email the order to the drop ship distributor with the customer's name and address.
7) Then the drop shipper dispatches the product to your customer from the warehouse with YOUR business name on the package.
8) The drop shipper charges you the wholesale price plus shipping. Remember you have already passed the shipping charge on to your customer, so the shipping costs you nothing.

So that's how drop shipping works. You don't have to buy products in bulk and store them, hoping to sell. You don't have to pay to have it shipped to you, and then pay again to ship it to your customer. All you have to do is send an email to your drop shipper.

You only buy what you have already sold. You provide the drop shipper with your customers address and drop shipper ships the product to your customer without any indication where the product came from. This may be the answer for some prospective sellers who want to become stockless retailers, whereby they keep no stock themselves. Instead they promote products on an auction site and get a drop shipping company to dispatch these products for them – directly to their customers.
