Home is one of our basic needs. Our home reflects our personality and what a way to beautify our house is through remodeling our floors. It just depends on your mood. Thus, installing hardwood flooring will make your house comfortable and will add warmth especially on cold winter months. Or, just giving a new twist and flavor to your house. Styling your house will be easy and sweat-free with these floorings.

One of those sold in the market is what they call solid hardwood floorings. They are durable, but it comes with a high price. Now comes what they callengineered hardwood floors. The upper layer is made from solid wood, but the other layers are made from durable materials such as plywood or high-density fiberboard. When combined, durability and quality is sure to last. Plus, it is much cheaper. They are built to last longer and will not contract and expand unlike any hardwood floors. Change of weather and humidity can cause maximum damage to floorings, but not on the engineered ones.

Another good factor of engineered wood floors is that they are much cheaper and economical, but the durability is the same as solid hardwood floorings. You do not have to save much money just to buy and install it, which makes it more advantageous than other wood floorings. When compared to solid hardwood floorings, you cannot easily distinguish the difference between the two because of a new innovation. It is possible to use solid wood on top of engineered floorings. In the factory, they set up finishes to the flooring which means it lessens the time of installation, the mess of putting glue to the flooring, and the plastic tapes that were usually attached on the flooring. You can walk on it the minute the flooring was installed. With these floorings, there is no need for a “waiting period.”

Installing engineered wood flooring is also easier. It can be simply installed on concrete floors by glue or nailing it down. Some engineered floorings do not need glue to be installed. They called this as floating floors. It can be installed on top of any surface, whether it is on ceramic tiles, concrete, wood floors, etc. As they were laid down on the floor surface, it will be on its place so you need not to worry on moving or unattached floorings. With these floorings, you can be sure that it will stick easily.

Some of these engineered wood floorings are found at hardwood flooring stores in Pasadena, California. Some of them were 20 years in the business, serving their customers with the finest quality of wood floorings and the newest of these were the engineered wood floors. They also offer products like carpets, wall paneling, and Hunter Douglas window covering. They are also keeping the Italian heritage of craftsmanship, which makes it first-class in durability and quality that customers will surely enjoy. They guarantee satisfaction with regard to their products, which were built to last for a long time.
