Chakra's are believed to sustain the light force of our being. There are seven different chakra's which effect different areas of our physical and mental being. The study of Chakra's have been practiced for thousands of years. There are several different cultures that follow the teachings of Chakra's.
The First Chakra or “the Root chakra”: is known as the Foundation chakra. This chakra effects our health and security and keeps us grounded. It is associated with the element of Earth. The Crown chakra is located at the base of the spine and is highly regarded for the overall well being of a person.
The Second Chakra or “the Sacral Chakra”: is related to the element of water. It is associated with the sexual reproductive organs and gives sexual fulfillment. It is all the Chakra that helps us control whether we can accept change. This Chakra brings grace to us.
The Third Chakra or “the Power Chakra”: is related to personal strength. It gives us energy and will. This Chakra is important to us because it keeps us going.
The Fourth Chakra or “the Heart Chakra”: Is associated with love this Chakra gives us compassion and emotion. It symbolizes the Male/female and Ego/unity of humanity. It also gives us peace in our mind and body.
The Fifth Chakra or “the Throat Chakra”: symbolizes language and how well we communicate. It also represents our creative identity and who we are as well as how we express ourselves.
The Sixth Chakra or “The Third Eye Chakra”: Represents us physically and intuitively. It symbolizes our inner sense or awareness and helps us with seeing the “Big Picture”.
The Seventh Chakra or “The Crown Chakra”: represents our understanding and awareness. It provides spiritual awareness in our minds. The Crown Chakra color is purple or violet and it is located at the top of the head.
