Alcohol-- a substance often abused. A substance responcible for Countless numbers of Divorces, Deaths, and loss of everything dear to an individual--Their Family--Their Finances--Their LIFE!!! Many people suffer from Alcoholism, the end result usually being hardships, health problems, and quite often these are passed on to their Loved Ones. The Loved Ones who slowly watch the effects it has on the individual.
Just put the Bottle down and Quit!!! I wish it could be that easy---It wasn't for me. There are several programs avaliable for people seeking help in this matter, and with the true desire to put your problem under control, it can be accomplished. The Internet is loaded with Websites and Blogs dedicated to passing on information regarding Where, When, and How to address your problem. I believe it is of great importance to not only use the programs avaliable such as going to AA meetings, it is also important to have somewhere to go, at any time, even from "The Comfort Of Your Own Home". Kinda like having help "A Click Away"

One Site that I find Helpfull and avaliable at any time is An Alcoholic's Story.
This is a Blog. A Blog that shares the experiences, troubles and hardships associated with being an Alcoholic. This is not your typical Website---Full of Ads and the such, in an attempt to get some of your Hard Earned Cash, but rather share the Real Life effects that alcohol can have in your Life. The Author shares stories---Stories many may be familiar with, I believe this sharing makes the reader comfortable---Kinda Like "Been There--Done That"
Not only does this Site elaborate on the problems related to Alcoholism, it gives you Links to information---Helpfull Information. Alcohol can definitely Ruin one's life. The loss of one's Job, and one's loved ones can leave an individual feeling there is no hope ( I Know--Been There-Done That ). We can be thankfull that there are programs offering support, not to mention the numerous Websites and Blogs avaliable to supply you information 24 hours a day. Use it---and Improve Your Life!!!
