Disadvantages of the Nokia N95 8 GB

Since the release of the N95 8 GB, we have found several disadvantages that we can blame to its make and design. These disadvantages range from lack in camera protection to the way the phone charges. The new N95 is still a pretty decent phone and that these faults can be easily overlooked. Still, they are worth mentioning so that we can be aware of its faults.
The first issue is that the phone doesn’t have a camera lens protector. Unlike the N82 which has a sliding camera lens protector, the only feature that attempts to protect the Car Zeiss Lens is a slight recess in the body. This may protect it from scratches, but it still doesn’t effectively keep finger smudges off it.
The N95 has a GPS feature all right, but it performs at a lower level compared to the other GPS capable phones. The one on this does not support 3rd party applications and often you would have to rely on the built in maps. The maps are reliable though, but they are quite limited.
The memory card slot is absent in the N95 8GB. This omission is understandable because of it already has immense memory capacity, but a card slot may have been very helpful when it comes to memory transfer. Another issue is that you won’t be able to edit office documents with the aid of the built in Symbian OS.
Another controversy that has plagued the first N95 is that the phone surface is very vulnerable to smudges and fingerprints and removing these recurring smudges is quite difficult.
Despite the mentioned flaws, the N95 8 GB has the following features vouching for it. A 5 MP camera capable of 30 fps video recording, 8GB of internal memory plus a 128 MB Ram, Symbian OS operating system, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, a secondary camera for video call, FM Radio and Music Player, TV out and more.
