gold and diamond prices are increasing at an exhorbitant rate often and more, but this business is unpredictable because it often reduces in value also suddenly, so their is nothing which can be told much in advance about this industry.
However, for the present generation and future in this 21st century and later , am sure this industry can survive i mean the jewellery business of pure quality gold and diamond can survive only if it respects human beings affordability and gives respect to people's position for buying it.
in ancient days, women were not educated much in the 16th 17th century even till late 19th century it was like that ,so the fathers of women once if a girl child was born they started accumulating jewels for her wedding because they believed it was the major asset and only asset that was given to her during wedding and she has no rights to enjoy ancestor property if she had brother and all after wedding. Those were a time.
but now things have changed a lot, every field if we take ,women are coming up in occupying top positions both in business, education, other fields and also concentrate on family life well.
The living conditions are so high nowadays ,wherever we live in any city be chennai or mumbai or delhi or every england or even u.s.nothing is easily affordable.
in one place food items and glossaries may be cheap but other areas may be costly,so each and every place has its own advantage and disadvantage also.
with all these pressures bearing in mind, every family tries its level best to get some jewels for their daughter upto their affordability, but many times even before making a budget for buying a single item also for important occassions, the price of the jewellery seems to be so high and cant be reached by any ordinary people.
why is any business done? is it done to ruin the rich hearts of valuable people? first in business ,human values and their minds and affordability of people living in that country and state must be considered always and jewellery is a sacred devine item worn by women in particular of any generation and also by men mostly nowadays in various forms.
in the present generation majority of the families concentrate on giving excellent education for their girl child, they get a good job themselves and try to live well,
the concept of parents to invest heavily on gold and diamond is slowly diminishing nowadays because first safety point of view, always theft and no security for these items if worn in large quantity in public places, then even if we invest on these fixed assets using huge sums, even after wedding of the girl, it goes to lockers in bank where u have to pay amount in huge for keeping them, rather keeping huge quantities if families invest in jewellery in banks, it can very well be displayed in shop like a showcase like a good window piece for public attraction.
so many points are there in this area, which many are aware, The gem and jewellery industry if they want to retain charm and glory of people then they have to come down a little to slash and it will be very grateful if the price of gold and diamond are made affordable for ordinary living class of people in all generations at present and future.
if they ignore this at present they have to be aware people have lots of other investments for concentrating
1.education
2.health
3.insurance
4.banking
5.shares
6.jewellery
7.loans
jewellery is one of the investment for any family, if its price is too high, many families will become smart enough to limit and reduce investing when price are high and wait for reduction and may even delete this option if the sector does not seem favorable at any point of time excepting in specific occassion like wedding making little investment for important necessities.
The class of people who always have the affordable rights and facility to buy royal ornaments belong to the aristrocatic class and not all countries have the affordability levels like the royal family in british.
The price for gold and diamond in developing countries must be different and it must be different in developed countries. There must not be a pressure in terms of item buying in developing countries if the people dont have the capacity to buy it in developing countries, its safe to eliminate that item rather wasting time and keeping it in show case without getting sold because of huge price.
People affordability is the major factor and important necessities must be priced at minimum levels always for all class of people
