Submitting articles to article submission sites is serious business for improving website traffic and visibility on the internet. It not only takes good content, but also good places to put your content in order to maximize your visibility.
There are many sites to submit articles to, but I wanted to focus on one in particular which I predict is going to be big, perhaps the biggest of all - ArticleTroll.com.
I mention
Article Troll in my article about Geometric Progression, as one of the many great places to go to submit articles, but I wanted to showcase them here, and show you how to submit articles quickly and easily.
First and foremost, it is free to submit articles, and even better, there is no registration. Just click the Submit an Article link at the top and you're ready to begin.
The nice thing about ArticleTroll, and the first thing you may notice is that you don't have to copy, paste, edit and format your article here. All articles are pointed to from the site, rather than submitted here. This has several benefits. One, no fiddling around with formatting your content. Two, no danger of duplicate content since the original article is on a target site. Three, no one is putting up someone else's article as their own because there's nothing to put there, only a link. All of this combines to make their submission process quick, easy and as they say, gives credit where credit is due.
Submission Process
First, enter the title of the article as it appears on the website where you found it. If it is your article on your site, you may want to edit the title so it that it is keyword intensive, because the title will also be the link, and it is important to make your link rich with searchable keywords.
Next, enter a brief synopsis for the article. This should be descriptive, interesting and accurate so that people will be compelled to click the article link.
Next, enter the URL for the article. This will be the location the user is sent to when the title is clicked. This link will help improve traffic, bolstered by the keyword intensive title. Note that the http:// is already inserted in the text box.
Next, select a category/subcategory for the article to be placed into by selecting it from the dropdown menu. No articles can be placed within the category proper (colored green), but can only be placed in the subcategory headings (colored black).
Finally, if the category/subcategory you want isn't listed in the dropdown menu, you can enter your own in the Suggest a New Category box. When you submit your article link, the trolls at Article Troll make any edits necessary including moving your article to the right category (as they see it) or creating your category from scratch and inserting the article there.

Wait, there's more
That's the neat thing about Article Troll. You can link to great article content online, but they also give you the opportunity to reward yourself for finding cool content with a "Troll Link".
The Troll Link allows you to promote something of your own with a link (if you're linking to someone else's article), or draw additional attention to your articles with a link to your article page or homepage. In this way, they hope to discourage people stealing content by promoting a link they found, and then using the Troll Link to promote their own content. Pretty cool.
So, to continue, enter the Troll Link you want people to check out as your reward for a good article. If you enter an article link to one of your articles, and then a Troll Link to your article page or homepage, you're getting two links for the price of one.
Finally, enter a description of the content at the Troll Link. It may be another article that is parallel to the submitted link, your business if you provide services similar to those described in the link, your article page from which the article link came from or just about anything else. Be sure to make your description very clear and concise, especially if the Troll Link goes to content completely different than that in the article link.
Click the Submit Article button at the bottom, and you're done. Article Troll's staff will edit the listing if necessary and submit it to the proper subcategory for viewing.
