The Italian language school Leonardo da Vinci and Naba, the New Academy of Fine Arts and Design,
propose to foreign students the opportunity to study a semester in Italy, having a specialised

course in the field of Art, Italian Fashion, Italian Design, Graphic and Media Design in

association with an italian language course.

You will attend a semester inside a recognized University of Arts, where you will learn theorical

and practical aspects of the subject you will choose between:

- Art
- Italian Design
- Italian Fashion
- Graphic & Media Design

The Art courses are dedicated to the Visual Arts such as painting, drawing and photography and want

to develop the critical sense of the students and their artistic ability.


The course in Italian Design offers the possibility to the students to choose between numerous

subjects: Fashion and Costume History, Fabric Design, Fashion Design and Planning, Fashion

Accessories and Jewelry Design.
The courses are designed in such a way as to provide the students with a solid theory base

supported by practical exercises in the studio.

Milan is Mondial Capital of Fashion so this is a unique occasion to learn or improve your Italian

together with the possibility to discover the word of Fashion and the various aspects that

influence it, students are quickly able to learn the main tecniques of elaboration of models and

fabrics.
The italian Plus Art Semester Courses in Graphic and Media Design points to improve the technical

knowledge of the students: from how to use the most sophisticated software to the traditional

drawing or all the new tools and technologies which are the basis of Multimedia and New Media.

Before to start all these courses students have to attend a language course for a minimum duration

of 4 weeks to reach the level necessary to enter in the Art classes.

The standard language course of 4 weeks consists of 80 lessons while the Art courses have a

duration of 12 weeks and consist of 144 lessons.
These special courses are offered only by Milan school center, in collaboration with
the Academy of Fine Arts Naba.

The Italian language school and the Academy of Fine Arts share the same campus in the Navigli zone,

a meeting place for artists where many cafes and trendy bars are concentrated.
