There are a lot of myths about needing to spend a lot of money to start a home based business, internet marketing venture, or work from home opportunity.

The truth is you dont need to spend thousands of dollars to be able to make money online, in fact all you really need is a little knowledge about the subject and you can start profiting immediately.

In this article im going to teach you how to make money online without having to spend any money. I want to bore my readers with technical stuff so i will try my best to make this short and simple.

Before you plan to make money online, you must know what products are in demand. So how do you do this?

1st step - Go to a keyword research tool located at freekeywords.wordtracker.com, then do a simple search to get an idea, you can start with "how to" to get a basic idea of what people are looking for... or if you already have an idea of something that you think is in demand, then search it.

For my example, im going to go with "weight loss" as i want to sell weight loss products.

I go to the keyword research tool and type the word "weight loss" and then a results page returns with the number of times a particular keyword was searched.

For Example: The keyword "Weight loss had a search result of 4982 times at the time of writing this article. Now if i managed to target this keyword, it would mean that i have a potential of 4982 targeted customers who are interested in my weight loss product and out of the 4982, if i only make a conversion of 1% which is 49 people. i will be making good money.

2nd Step The next step is to locate a good weight loss product to promote, as we only want the best for our customers. You can find many weight loss affiliate products by doing a simple search on google like this:

"weight loss affiliate program", and results page should return and all you have to do is pick the product you feel is the best based on your research (Very Important Step is Research, Please do this before promoting anything online)

Assume i already have a affiliate product that pays me $$20 persale x 1% of 4982 = 49 sales x $$20 = $$980.

Note: This can very easily be achieved daily but i want to stay on the conservative side, so lets assume we make this in a month

All we need to do is find 5 more profitable products and we have $$980 x 5 websites = a fantastic side income. Obviously you have to do research on other hot selling products and not just sell weight loss on all 5 affiliate sites.

3rd Step Now that you have found the keyword you want to target and product you want to sell, you need to generate targeted traffic, how do you do this? You have to do a lot of research and know your product well, then write articles about it, blog about it, give help posts in forums with a link to your site and remember not to spam.
