When a dentist examines a person is occlusion, he or she is immediately evaluating how the bite force of a person can compromise the teeth, the gum and even muscles and joints which allow the bite to remain functional.

Some of the common symptoms that a person may suffer from what a malocclusion problem is precedent are: constant headaches, head and neck muscle pain, tooth wear, tooth sensitivity, jaw joint pain and even joint noises.
