Work From Home Moms Know How To Stretch Pennies!!

Moms or housewives working from home can stretch their household budget if they will think and act frugally. As we experience these economic tough times we must change our way of spending!

1. If your family enjoys bread or baked goods you may consider purchasing bulk flour and using your bread machine or baking instead of purchasing ready made items. Store the flour in your freezer for freshness.

2. Moms with stay at home jobs may consider cooking a few dishes each week from
scratch and allowing their children to assist them with the preparations. Making the exercise a family affair could be positive time together.

3. Think about having raised garden beds in your back yard. Planting squash,
tomatoes, cucumbers and other easy to grow vegetables would help the weekly
grocery bill.

4. Instead of going to a beauty salon for hair cuts or perms, work from home moms
could try beauty schools if you have one in your area. The prices will be less than a salon.

5. Saving money on energy is important. Purchase outside sunscreens for the
windows to keep the home cooler.

6. Moms can shop thrift stores for good quality clothing and household items.

7. When we work from home there is the ability to flex our schedule and be able to
look for clearance sales. If there are items that’s been scratched, stained or mildly damaged ask if the store will take less than the price tag.

There are a lot more ideas where you can save money in and around your home. Stop and think about the things you do each day and see if you can cut cost in these economic challenging times.
