Use four key strategies that draw buyers for your product before and after it’s published.

1. Use your database and clients to pre-sell your book. When using your database and clients to pre-sell your book, you can end up with stacks of order forms. These order forms will just sit and wait for the day when your book is to launch. You can figure out how to sell with affiliates and also pre-sell them through teleseminars.

2. Put together a book bonus campaign. You can use this strategy for an information product or for pretty much anything you’re trying to sell. It’s applicable to everybody. Put together a book bonus campaign and give away copies of work by six or seven heavy hitters, like ebooks, teleseminars, or anything of value. The whole bonus package will make the value of your book rise substantially. What you want to do is get all of these people to commit to giving you bonuses for whatever your product is, where all of the contributors receive a little bit of exposure from everyone who purchases your book. Most of their bonuses will be previews. Basically, a preview is set up so that you’re giving away some killer content upfront, and you have a system in place. You’re funneling people into some sort of backend product offering.

3. Have your JV partners send out email blasts. Here’s a catch, and this is the kicker. You want to have people who have a following or have a list, and you want to be creating exposure for all of your alliances. Have your partners commit to sending out an email blast to promote the book. This approach is like an email campaign and it can drive your book to number one.

4. Process your orders through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Finally, place your order processing online with Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This is what dictates who is on The New York Times Bestseller List. You can measure your position ranking by how many orders come in over a certain amount of time. You want to get as many orders through as possible in order to drive up that ranking.

Use these four strategies as soon as possible and you'll begin drawing buyers and reaping profits faster than you think. And remember, your product can make you money before it’s published.
