Live Your Dreams Now

Do you fear that by the time you discover what your dreams are, you’ll be too old to do anything about them?

Anyone I work with knows to not make any decision based out of fear. In fact I do not make any decision based on either fear or greed. If I do, I notice that I tend to make the wrong decision.

How old is too old? If you have been working at a job you hate for the last fifteen years, but know that you only have ten more years until retirement; is it ok to stay at that job?

What if your dream could become reality? You probably won’t know until you sketch out a plan and start putting things into place to make it happen.

What is that magical age? Is it 25, 35, or 65? Many people make the mistake of thinking they are too old to do something. I don’t buy into that. While it may be tough psychologically, I keep telling myself that I not too old as long as I am breathing.

My guest on the Past Due Radio Show this weekend joined a fraternity at forty-five years old. Forty-five is not very old, but regardless of if Lee thought it was, he certainly did not let it stop him. In fact, not only did he join a fraternity of engineers, but he also went on to hold many offices within the organization.

You will never realize your dreams without first developing a plan. It will not happen on its own; but if you truly have the drive and motivation, you can do just about anything you want.
