MLM, if you have been involved in it before, you either love it or hate it. I am of the opinion that I love it, and in this series, if you are in the hate it camp, I hope to turn you into the love it camp.
If you are already in the love it camp, hopefully I will share with you an angle that will make you appreciate it even more and hopefully you can learn some things to apply to your business.
What I want to tackle in this series is to teach you a very important skill that you will need to master MLM Network Marketing. Without it, you will either continue to hate it, or if you love it, without it, you will fall behind.
The subject I want to tackle is Marketing. Plain and simple marketing. Strange as it may sound but, in an industry that has the word "marketing" in it, Network Marketing, sadly many lack that knowledge.
Let's change that beginning now.
You may be thinking, we do market! Some of you will say, I cold call leads. Others, I market to my friends and family when I tell them about the business or product. Or others will say I get my business card or flyers out to as many places as possible.
Yes, that is marketing, but I am of the opinion, it is a very weak aspect of marketing. I know, many have built huge organizations using these methods. More power to them. But we are in the 2000's now. We have the internet to leverage. If you are not using it, you are missing out on a huge market.
For those of you that advocate the 3 foot rule, think about this, with the internet, when you are sitting in front of your computer, you are literally 3 feet from millions of people. How powerful is that?
But this isn't a series on using the internet. It is a part of what I am going to teach you. It is going to be the vehicle, the tool, for our
marketing. But my main goal is to teach you what is the engine, the driving force. And that will be your marketing.
But to be exact, it is Direct Response Marketing. That is what I am going to tackle and teach you how to use it for your MLM.
Once you understand this powerful form of marketing, you will never go back. You can succeed in any MLM Network Marketing company you choose.
Now what is direct response marketing. Let me explain it simply in a few sentences.
Direct Response Marketing consists of 3 things. First, you need to identify your target market by identifying what their problems are. Second, knowing who they are and knowing what they need, you are going to craft a message, your ad, that offers them a solution to their problem. And finally, once you have your target market and your message, you are going to need to know how to get that message in front of the right people.
Simple isn't it? Identify target market and their problems. Offer solution with a well crafted message. Get that message out in front of as many target market people as you can.
You accomplish those 3 goals and the world is your oyster. Is that the cliche'?
Now how does that apply to MLM? How do you use direct response marketing for your MLM Network Marketing business?
That's easy. With most MLM's aren't we offering a product or service that offers a solution to a problem. Well if we are, then the only obstacle in our way to millions of dollars, is being able to put that solution in front of the right audience.
So if we can craft the correct message to that market, we have it made.
So the next part in our series we will tackle identifying that market.
