Hinduism- Thoughts

Nothing is mine. Everything belongs to God. He gave the body. He made it alive. He gave ability to work. He can take that away anytime. A disease can take away all abilities and make me totally helpless. God can kill me at his will. After that where am I? What am I proud of? Nothing is mine. I do not know from where I came from and I do not know where shall I go after my death. All my attachments will remain here while I travel away.

Prayer for purity-

I am nothing. Absolutely nothing. My body is not in my control, nor is my mind. I have no control over others. Moreover I do not even know who I am and where will I go after death. But I have lot of ego that I am something. I have dirty mind. Please help me. Please make me a good person. Please clean me.

Questions of a seeker-

There are many questions that a seeker asks. The idea of me and mine perplexes me. If God created my body then it is his. My soul is his. Then who is this me? From where does this me enter into picture? Is there any me or it is only my ego that creates this me.

Free will is absent-

According to Hinduism, there is no free will. What all of us do is destined. God knows everything. He decides about our actions and we have no free will. Then how should karma affect me? I am performing karma s per his wish. This also perplexes me a lot. Till one prays for and gets a true guru questions will keep hammering. Only a Guru can remove the ignorance and show us the truth and give us freedom from cycle of birth and death.
