The first thing you have to do before installing the coating is to clean and repair the concrete. After you manage to clean it, you can start repairing it. The most common problems you might have are cracks, uneven spots, moisture and so on. Make sure you eliminate all these problems before you start your garage floor coating project. Once you’re done. leave the concrete a few days before you start applying the coating. Then, you should decide about applying one coating or two coatings.
Now, you can start installing the coating. You can also use flakes. They are very useful for extending the coating's durability or they can enhance the coating's color. If you decide to apply two coatings, now is the time for it. But before you do that, you should clean any debris that remains. Double check that there is nothing that might interfere with the second coating. Now, everything that there is left to do is wait until everything has completely dried. This means that nothing should touch the coating for at least 24 hours. The recommended time, just to make sure, is 48 hours. The vehicle should also be kept outside for several days, until you can be sure it can’t hurt the coating. Once the days have passed, all there is left to do is to quickly clean the dust and you now own a very good looking garage.
After all the work, you now look again at your house. You notice that everything is into place now and you smile. You now know what was missing and you know you made the right choice. You go into your house satisfied and you know that you have a perfect home now!
