As companies grow they will often find the need for creating several workspaces in a small area. The solution for this more often than not will be for the company to bring in cubicles for their workers. There are many different styles and sizes to choose from but for most companies the standard format three-wall and single side desk will be the best solution. Most metropolitan cities will have a local solution for having cubicles brought in and installed. If you choose to go another route there are several companies that you can find online source for discounted cubicles. However you address your cubicle situation you should be aware of the issues that you are going to run into once you have the units installed. For each of the units you are going to have to run power, phones and internet lines. Installing the phone lines is a difficult process and depending on how you are planning on setting up your office, whether it is going to be based on extensions or individual phone numbers this service should be provided by you local phone service provider. They can provide the best solution for your phone line needs and often can save you money in the long run. As for your internet needs, most companies should be converting to wireless networking solutions. Many companies are providing portable computers for their executives and all the recent models are built to be compatible with wireless networks. Designing a wireless network for your office is a fairly simple process that simply requires that the office have a DSL connection either through cable or through the phone lines. Once your have a DSL connection you will need a modem capable of interpreting the signal and a wireless router. I always suggest Apple computer's Airport. This router offers wireless internet signal that span over an entire office and all models have a USB port. This means that your employees will have a single printer they are all in connect with wirelessly. Instead of all of your employees printing to their individual ink-jet printers, which are slow and expensive to maintain. A centralized printer will cut down your printing expenses and speed up your staff's printing process.
