I want to get back together with my ex-girlfriend but she is ignoring me. What am I suppose to do in this situation. How can I overcome her resistance? Is it really possible for me to do anything about it?

If your ex girlfriend is ignoring you and refusing to pick up the phone, it is understandable that you start feeling panic. However, even if you are really panic, the last thing you ever want to do is to show your ex girlfriend you are panicky. You don't want to do that because that is a very big turn off to any girls. You want to attract her back, not to drive her further away.

Even if your girlfriend is ignoring you for the time being, you do not want to give up so easily yet. If you really love her and believe it is the best outcome for both of you to get back together, then you should not give up so easily.

First, we have to try to figure out why your girlfriend is ignoring you. Is it because both of you have just broken up. If this is your situation, then most probably, your girlfriend is avoiding you because she doesn't wish to talk to you for the time being or she doesn't know how to face you.

Since both of you have only just broken up a few days ago, there is no need to rush things. There is no need to get into contact with her if she is avoiding you. Even if you keep on calling her during this period, she may not pick up the phone anyway.

So, give both of you some time to cool down and think through things. She may be ignoring you for the time being but that doesn't mean she will ignore you forever. You can try calling her say 30 days later. Who knows, by then, she will be willing to pick up the phone.

Remember if she did not pick up the phone, you don't want to call her one hundred times per hour until she picks up the phone. That will only drive her further away and makes it more difficult for you to get your girlfriend back.
