Bournemouth is an extremely diverse town on the south coast of England with a large number of things for young people to do. Plenty of attractions and the beautiful beaches makes Bournemouth a great holiday destination for young and old alike.
Bournemouth is also known for its nightlife, with it having a great range of pubs, bars and clubs. The mix of clubs is a great for hardened clubbers, but also makes Bournemouth a great destination for Stag dos and Hen nights. Here are our top 5 bars to visit while in Bournemouth.

Alcatraz
This bar is laid back and cool place to wind down on an evening out. It is a fairly smallish bar with tiled floor, ceiling fans a lavish stained wood bar. If you are looking for more than the usual drinks and cocktails, Alcatraz has a great menu fro snacks which are perfect for the beginning of a night.


Bumbles
Known for its live music, Bumbles is a great late night venue in Bournemouth. It is one oldest clubs in the town and is very popular with both students and locals. With two rooms to choose from, one caters for dance music fans with a DJ and the second is a cocktail bar called buzz that is proving to be very popular.

DNA
One of the more unique places in Bournemouth, Daytime, Nighttime Anytime is a laid back venue where reggae music and tropical plants create a cool atmosphere that attracts plenty of customers. As well as drinks and music, traditional food like Jerk Chicken is served most of the day.

Lighthouse
Situated near the Bournemouth International Centre, the lighthouse is a bar that is perfect for visiting at the beginning or end of the night. The bar runs drinks specials frequently and food is served in a continental bar up until 7pm. Live music and DJs provide an atmosphere to draw in plenty of visitors.


K Bar
This club is the trendy in place to be seen in Bournemouth. Its reputation as a dance club means it is usually packed out right until the end of the night. As with a lot of clubs, K Bar has different music style from night to night, ranging from soul to r&b. The K Bar tends to attract younger locals, tourists and students.
