Everything seems great. He treats you like a princess. He is sensitive, genuine, and caring. Every day he tells you how much you mean to him and loves you. It's been nearly a year since you met your boy friend and deep down inside you anticipate him to propose to you. But all of a sudden he starts asking you about your personal savings. He starts to ask you for money, credit card, and ask you personal questions about your 401 K and savings. At first, you think lightly and think he is thinking how to invest for both of you.

Much to your surprise, he starts receiving cellphone calls from a woman you don't recognize and talks for a lengthy time. When you ask him who she is he just jokes and says that its some woman who has a crush on him. You don't take it seriously and nearly 2 months goes by. All of a sudden, he starts asking you for large sum of money. He tells you he will pay you back in no time. Naively, you write check in the amount of $10,000.00. You don't think much about the money since you have a great job and earn a six figure income. But habitually, your boy friend keeps asking you for more money. It becomes very suspicious and you have doubts in your mind about your boy friend.

You start to search on the Internet for finding information about people. You come to the site called Background Report and discover that his real name is different, he has a criminal record for assault and battery charge, been married 4 times, and filed for bankruptcy. You get chills down your spine and become scared, crushed, and deceived. You call your sister and tell her the news about your boy friend. She tells you to keep calm, collected and take action. Should you call the police or stay at your sisters' home.
