Kent's Academy of Kempo martial arts, is part of a well-developed interlocking system of martial arts academies in Washington State. Kent's Academy of Kempo Martial Arts follows the Shaolin kung fu tradition in philosophy, techniques and training methods.
Most martial arts schools use group instruction methods, even combining children's classes with adults. At Kent's Martial Arts Academy, students receive exclusive private instruction as well as group training. In this school, students progress up to two-thirds faster than at schools offering only group instruction.
Kent's Academy of Kempo Martial Arts focuses on the student as a whole person. They not only give professional, one-on-one martial arts instruction, but they also offer classes in meditation and relaxation. The training is customized for each and every student, and they teach at a comfortable rate for each individual.
No one is pushed to perform. The public cannot view a student's class, and tournaments and sparring are not a part of the way of teaching at our martial arts school. Students are also never charged a fee for colored belt or sash tests.
