Music reveals our feelings and attitudes. Your desire to listen to a particular type of music will conform to the specific headings that follow. At one moment, you may prefer jazz, whereas at another, blues, and there is no contradiction! Your feelings and attitudes prefer a type of music that suits your particular mood. Many studies have revealed that music alters one’s moods on account of its effect on the central nervous system. The tempo of the particular type of music is said to ’take hold’ of the person and has the corresponding results. There is the belief that personality traits as well may be altered, becoming parallel to the music of choice.

Blues:

You love relating, especially tO someone who is sympathetic.


Classical:

Being a lot more self absorbed than others, your mind is the fundamental sieve for your emotions.

Folk:

Because of your identification with the local people

And distress with living conditions, etc., This type of music coincides with your feelings exactly. Indian music:

Your basic likes are novel, sometimes not recognizable, by trying to imitate other people and cultures, your grasp of them is heightened.

Jazz:

Breaking out, being free, that’s what it’s all about.

Mood Music:

Feeling the need to concentrate, this type of music tends to sedate you.

Opera:

Being very fault finding yet quite conventional, you have been accused of being ostentatious and too formal.

Pop Music:


You love the plain, the unadorned; you prefer the hassle free life, leave the in-depth studies to the psychiatrists.

Punk:

You have a great deal of wrath and have great resentment for the outside world, stemming essentially from having low self worth - but if somebody would tell you this, they better look out.

Rock:

Direction is of primary significance here. Feeling a part of others, this music allows you to let go sexually and socially.

Show tunes:

Essentially being theatrical, you have a way of aggrandizing most things.

Strong Memory:

A particular song that is attached to a strong memory of the past, reflect strong emotions that were occurring at the time the song was heard.
