Everyone who is in the business of selling and working on cars knows the importance of having an affordable and comprehensive motor trade insurance policy. It is very important to the success and safety of your business to carry efficient motor trade coverage on your properties. Even if you think that you may not need it or qualify for it, if you earn your living fixing, working on, buying or selling cars you should consider checking out motor trade insurance policies.

To help you get started with your new policy, a member of the motor trade insurance sales force will guide you through all of your available options in policies. There are basically five different kinds of policies that you have to choose from:

1. Third Party Only Insurance Policy

2. Third Party Insurance Policy

3. Fire and Theft Insurance Policy

4. Comprehensive Insurance Policy

5. Liability Insurance Policy

Or you can create a combined policy of the above mentioned types. Depending on your motor trade line of work, you will have different needs and it is important to choose the plan that suits your individual needs and will provide you with the amount of protection that you need.

If you choose to go with the Third Party Only motor trade insurance policy, you will have what is required by the law to operate your motor trade business. In addition, if you do restoration, repair or other types of automobile work like HGV insurance, you also need to be covered by the Third Party Only policy. It is important to keep in mind that if you do a combination of those services, you may want to go with a more comprehensive plan that will cover more of the items that you use in your motor trade business. An insurance sales person will be happy to help you select the best coverage that you need.
