According to the web, a large portion of online marketers, say 70%-80%, fail at their first try. Why is this so? If work from home has a lot more promise compared to offline business as what they say, why these failures?

It’s a given that you will not likely be successful in your first work from home or at the jumpstart of your online career. Congratulations if you do. But fret not, if you don’t. Not everyone can make it big on their first attempt in making money online. But that doesn’t mean failing. To fail is when an aspiring online entrepreneur quits after a couple of unsuccessful attempts. That’s the epic failure there.

Keep in mind that you’re just a newbie and as one, the odds of hitting the jackpot are far huge. Even long-time Internet marketers struggle for that sweet success. The common mistake by some first-timers is their somehow twisted belief and expectations in their online business. A lot of them tend to count the chicks before the eggs could even hatch. They already think of the output, the money, not realizing the inputs and the processes that they need to go through first. They fail to remember that in order to reap out the profits; they first need to invest their time, expertise, hard work, even some money if necessary.

Here are a few pointers for ‘noobs’ to ponder on:

You are a first-timer. You are prone to unsuccessful attempts and dead ends along the way since you have so much more to learn. So all you need to do is take time to learn. Read. Research. Ask. Study. Know more.

Never stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done. Work from home can be stressful as much as regular jobs or maybe more. Be patient. Persevere. You could take a break but be sure to get back as quickly as possible.

Keep up the pace. The world of online marketing is like a busy train. Make sure you won’t be left behind. You’re both a learning process and a working progress. So, you really have to cope up.

Focus, from the start and onwards. There can be a lot of distractions. Either you stay firm to your goals or get lost in the wilderness that is work from home.

Take every bumps and bruises as a challenge and a learning experience. Do not commit the same mistakes all over again. Learn from it.

This just goes to say that in doing work from home, you have to learn more in order to earn more, regardless if you’re a newbie or not.
