Would you like your articles understood by information seekers without them reading a single word? "How is that possible you may ask?" Simply by having people listen to the articles instead of reading them.

If your articles were read to information seekers, don't you think they would absorb more of the content? Human nature is geared towards making things easier, in other words less cumbersome. When you make work easier you get more done, and in business that translates into more money.

As a result of this added feature to your articles they would become more alive and enjoyable for people that want your information, because all they need to do is listen. You will appreciate your work more too, for this reason; you will be forced to make your articles clearer, concise and more complete. And an added value is that your article will be much easier to edit when you listen to the content instead of reading it.

Here are a few things Text to Speech audio can do for your business:

• Ask your article site visitors to subscribe to your newsletter, ezine or opt-in list, and as a reward give them access to the audio version of the site article along with other free offers.
• Produce MP3 podcasts for the boom in iPod technology before other companies in your niche start doing it. Of course don't forget to include the links to your products, services or affiliate programs.
• Convert your auto-responder courses or any text course to audio training. Host them on a web page in WAV format. Don't concern yourself with recording your own voice; use the text to speech software. There are new speech synthesizer voice engines that will blow you away with the human voice like quality of their speech.

• Put excerpts from your e-book on your web site. Capture attention with this promotion method and drive people to your shopping cart.
• Turn your articles and reports into audio streams for sale or to customers as an interesting and effective method of learning.

There's a lot more you can do with this new high quality technology… including in house training of staff in new skill sets. Make it easier and faster to train new and existing employees.

Now you may be thinking this sounds great, but isn't all this expensive? And the response is no, it's definitely not, in fact it's quite inexpensive. There are some really great products out there, starting at around $25 up to about $60 for the highest quality software. But let's itemize what you need to accomplish all the above:

1. Text to Speech software. This is the tool that actually reads the text and sends it to the voice engine or speech synthesizer. Less than $25.
2. The Speech Synthesizer. Now there's some good news and bad news. The good news is you already have more that one voice engine on your computer that came with the Windows Operating system. The bad news is the voice quality is not good enough to be used with customers, clients, prospects or even your staff. But there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel. You can get two high quality voices (male & female) at about $17.50 each.
3. A recording device to play back MP3 or WAV files and edit them. This is not necessary if you don't mind playing back the audio on a new screen with only a play control bar on it. You may prefer the play buttons (start, pause and stop) on the same screen with your text content. The cost of these products varies. However, you can get this software for free.

In conclusion, the text to speech and voice synthesizer technology is not new. However, the human like voice quality is, and with this higher quality comes the capability to use these new voices as you would a professional speaker. The quality is something close to the HAL-9000 Computer in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey".

The popularity of this technology is growing fast and is now being used in many useful applications. In fact, the famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has upgraded to one of the voices available to you right now for the low cost mentioned above. This technology is here to stay and is increasing in application use. Be prepared to benefit from this inexpensive and amazingly useful tool. It is already starting to show itself as a profit making business tool that cannot be ignored. Don't get left behind.
