Traffic Your Way to Wealth 2 – Perhaps you are one that has tried to purchase volumes of inexpensive traffic, like guaranteed traffic, redirect traffic, sub traffic; or pop under, or pop over traffic. if you are like most who have tried these types of traffic you probably have been disappointed. All those visitors, and no sales. I know I've tried my share and I felt like I wasted my money.
 
One thing I came to understand it was not effective converting this type of traffic; you really are only paying for exposures, or they get a quick view of your business. I remember buying 10,000 popovers for $79 and I did not get one sign up of all of it. Like so many of you who are new to the business it looks great, because you have no traffic and you want to make sales and that's what everybody is promising you. But I learned that type of traffic does not spend any time on your site and if the companies selling it to tens of thousands of people most people don't spend but a click on it. So in essence I threw $79 in the trash because I did not know better.

 
Everyone makes mistakes like this when they first get started; and I am just admitting the ones I have made when I started off. I have learned that in order to make this type of traffic effective you have to do two things: 1) get a high a number of people, who see your site spend some time there, rather than quickly clicking out or 2) get a higher conversion rate out of those who do spend some time there. In reality, you want to focus on improving both.
 
The key to this type of traffic is to create specific “landing pages” for each traffic source, rather than and having all the traffic directed to the main sales page. I want to make a point to you about that $79; it was a system; and the system sold this type of traffic but gave you no understanding on how to make it effective; but I've learned a lot since that mistake. Because the “high traffic page” is going to have a specific purpose, which is different from the purpose of regular sales pages, they must be different pages. To make these pages effective you need different pages for each source of traffic. I've learned to create a different page for each source oftraffic , and that is to get the vistor's entry point into my website.

 
This page is designed to capture the attention of the general public as they are leaving another site, and because it is designed to stand out from typical web pages, the reader will immediately know what the pages are all about and they will not click out.
 
How do you make a page stand out? You can create a giant headline. This headline should be attention grabbing, and command action. For example: To Learn Everything You Need To Create Wealth For The Rest of Your Life, CLICK HERE NOW! That might be all you put on a page if they click through they will arrive at your regular sales page. Now you have a true visitor -- -- generally only people interested in building wealth will click through to that page.
 
The other effective technique with high-volume traffic is using a sign-up page. This will be a similar headline and maybe adding a little text, asking the reader to put their name and e-mail address for more information. Make the “more information” something of value like a 10 day course for free on how to traffic your way to wealth, or offer a free e book. (Or both)
