Does the promise of being able to eat whatever you want and still lose weight sound too good to be true?

Under traditional weight loss programs, you had to reduce your meals to such a small size that they often left you feeling hungry and deprived at the end of the day. Thanks to modern technology and the latest research, those hungry days are now over!

New food additives, known as calorie inhibitors, allow you to consume the foods that you want and still lose weight. These new food additives work because the natural ingredients in a calorie inhibitor keep up to 25% of the calories in the food that you eat from being absorbed into your body. The excess calories pass harmlessly through your digestive system instead of adding unwanted pounds to your frame.

Best of all, some calorie inhibitors contain natural ingredients. One natural ingredient that has been shown to successfully block calorie absorption is the dietary fiber, glucomannan. This natural fiber comes from the root of the Konjac plant. It is a plant that is widely understood to have beneficial properties and may even reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels in some individuals. In fact, the Konjac plant has been used as a medicine in Japan since the sixth century.

With many other types of diet aids you have to worry about unpleasant side effects such as gas, diarrhea, cramping, or other embarrassing problems. Supplements made with glucomannan, on the other hand, have no known side effects. Glucomannan itself is generally recognized as being very safe to use.

One of the best things about weight loss supplements made with glucomannan is that they have no discernable odor or flavor. They can easily be added to foods without affecting the taste or texture of the food. In fact, one product has even created a form of the fiber that can easily be sprinkled onto your food at every meal.

Dietary restrictions and deprivation can lead to weight loss failure. Many a dieter has been disappointed when they resumed their normal eating pattern and found that the unwanted pounds quickly returned. With the new calorie inhibitors, this dieting disappointment may become a thing of the past. In fact, some calorie inhibitors can be used for an indefinite period of time since they are non-toxic and have no harmful side effects. (Although, since calorie inhibitors are considered a supplement and not a medication, the FDA does not generally test them.)

The only worry that any consumer might have about calorie inhibitors is that they may block some of the healthful nutrients found in food right along with the unwanted calories. This concern is easily addressed. All that you need to do is add a vitamin supplement to your diet to make sure that you are getting the right combination of vitamins. If you have any specific concerns, then you should ask your physician.

If calorie inhibitors allow you to lose weight easily, then why isn’t everyone using them? That’s a very good question. Most probably the answer is that not everyone is aware of this dieting breakthrough that promises to change the future of dieting.
