If you're reading my article today, you're likely to be someone who has ADHD or ADD or have a child who, like mine, suffers from the disorder. So, here's a fact that will make you want to sit up and take notice. Because did you know that 1 in 25 kids have it! And as ADHD is known to cause a variety of difficulties and problems for these kids, ranging from fidgetting, restlessness, lack of concentration, an inability to take turns with others, or even standing in a queue without causing a disturbance of some kind, these kids have a hard time fitting in with not only their peers, but responding to teachers and other adults appropriately.

Luckily, due to the noticable behavioural differences a kid with ADHD or ADD exhibits, the symptoms are usually picked up and diagnosed in pre school or during early school years, which is a great advantage to those kids given the right treatment sooner rather than later.

When I first found out about the connection between food dye and ADHD I was shocked to say the least, worrying that every mouthful of food I gave my son and that he eagerly put into his mouth may only be adding to the already chaotic atmosphere in the house. So, I figured it was time to take some action and do something about it myself. As it appeared from what I'd heard, that sadly, most kids don't get the correct help they need, with doctors fobbing their parents off with any number of 'valid' reasons to dish out umpteen drugs far too often. It seems to be their answer for just about everything.

Okay, so over the years, I'd realised my son seemed kinda different to other kids his age, his attention span appeared to be very limited, and if forced to stretch it, let me tell you - he struggled. So it didn't help that he was easily distracted, and getting him back on track was a nightmare, even to the simplest of tasks. He was incredibly forgetful, looking as if he tackled each task in an aimless, even random manner. For instance if he went from one room to another to go get something that 'he' wanted, I could guarantee that before he'd get back he would've forgotten what he'd actually gone for, and would've gotten distracted by something along the way, since he couldn't seem to keep his mind on simple tasks before he'd managed to complete them. And he never seemed able to listen and take in properly what was being spoken, even if he himself had asked for help, homework could take literally hours! And sadly, often went back to school incomplete or not completed at all, as the chaos that regularly ensued because of it, left not only my son but also myself, thoroughly worn out not to mention helpless at the sheer struggle it took for him to see it to the end. And it hurt to know that I may've been unknowingly adding to his struggles by again unknowingly feeding him all those harmful food dyes.

I knew I had to do something to help him, but to be honest, with all the horror stories I'd heard of kids with ADHD and ADD being forced to take all kinds of drugs that yes, on the one hand did keep them 'calm' but on the other turned them into doped up complient zombies unable to express their true selves. Well I for one wasn't prepared to ply my son with dangerous drugs that had an array of harmful side effects, as that certainly WASN'T the way forward for him OR me! And after he was diagnosed with ADD I figured there HAD to be something on offer better than drugs - surely! So I started doing some research online and thankfully, after many hours searching amongst the sites that gave that same frightening drugs option, I finally found the golden nugget I'd been looking for.

Meanwhile, my son's teacher recommended that he attend a gym programme at school, where he'd go in half an hour before school started each day and do a variety of games and physical exercises to improve his concentration. And to be fair it DID help him as his classwork showed a marked improvement. But whilst he was doing better at school, homelife was still as chaotic. So, as I said above, having continued my research I stumbled upon the ebook that I hoped would answer all my prayers as far as my son's disorder was concerned. Because like me, Dr Saunders is against the use of drugs in the treatment of ADHD and ADD, and instead promotes that a change in the diets of kids (and adults with either disorder) plus the correct balance of nutrition and physical excercise along with other factors can dramatically improve their lives, eliminating the symptoms of hyperactivity and innatention, thus, finally ending the nightmare that is ADHD and ADD. As it's known that many critical food deficiancies can cause this disorder and many kids with ADHD or ADD also suffer from a variety of food allergies, which in turn means they could be losing vital vitamins, iron, zinc etc. So it's true that what goes in is SO important for the proper functioning of the body and mind. Because as Dr Saunders says in his ebook that with the right combination of behavioural modification, nutrition, exercise and therapy, the best long term effective results can be achieved, making a huge improvement to the lives of kids with ADHD not to mention their families. And I'd seen first hand the improvement in my son's concentration levels when he was doing his gym class at school each morning. So I figured that if he could get those kinda results from just his gym classes alone, just think of the kinda results he could get with the valuable information in Dr Saunders ebook. And so for the sake of my son and my sanity, I had to trust him and buy that book, and boy am I glad I did!

I also knew that if kids with ADHD aren't given the right treatment at the right time, more often than not they grow into adults with AADD Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, with symptoms such as day dreaming, feeling a constant need to be physically busy, excessive talking to the point of blatantly interrupting others without a second thought and even speaking out without regard to the consequences, plaguing their lives. And I definitely didn't want that for my son. I wanted to help him to integrate with people NOT alienate them from him, so I couldn't get Dr Saunders ebook fast enough.

When I read the ebook I couldn't believe just how much useful, practical and helpful information Dr Saunders had crammed into it, things I actually WANTED to hear for once, as none of it was drug related. He talks about why he said no to drugs and the truth why he feels drugs aren't the answer to the problem of ADHD. The link between ADHD and allergies and how to take "hyper foods" out of your kids diet along with tons of other brilliantly useful information that if implemented will make such a huge difference to yours and most importantly, your kids lives. My son who's now 12 is more or less just like any other kid his age and no longer feels like the odd one out, and for that I'm extremely grateful.

I would say my one negative point about this ebook is that I wish it'd been around when my son was small and we didn't have to go through all the headaches (and heartache when I'd see how much he'd struggle with everyday tasks and was often unable to fit in with other kids his age) but if you're willing to trust Dr Saunders, put in a bit of effort and implement the information and methods he recommends, make some changes to you and your kids daily routine, I can tell you that you won't be sorry. So if you can't wait to get your hands on Dr Saunders ebook Click Here

I wish you every success in leaving the nightmare of ADHD and ADD behind you for good. Start planning a bright new future for you and your family. Good luck - not that you'll need it.
