Have you ever had one of those days when your body seems too heavy to lift that you would actually want to sleep the rest of the day? You try to wake up but you lack motivation to get up. Although this doesn't happen almost regularly, but all of us has one of those unmotivated mornings which eventually will lead to unproductive days.

When we wake up tired, and sometimes unsatisfied with our sleep, we feel like not doing the things we should be doing. We lack some sort of energy in the morning that sparks us to stand up and get going the rest of the day. These are the days when you need more than just a cup of coffee to awaken your senses.

The first thing you got to do is to avoid sleeping late. Sleeping late is not always good, specially when you have something else to do the next day. Having a short rest will make you cranky and easily irritated in the morning. You need to at least have a deep sleep so that you'll feel rejuvenated when you wake up.

Next is you got to get some sunlight when waking up. Notice how the bright and intense sunlight somehow gives you energy and invigorates you. This isn't the case when you wake up in a dark room, where there is hardly any light. Just even a simple opening of the windows can already boost you. Morning air can also help.

A lot of people wakes up unmotivated is because they don't have something to look forward to. You should try to avoid this, and always have something to look forward to. Even something as simple as exercising, reading a book, or a TV show or movie that you have been waiting for a long time. Even the simplest thing as seeing your son or daughter smile, or seeing your loved ones. You could also try to do something relevant that you could look forward to. Like taking cooking classes during summer, having a picnic in the park, or seeing friends that you haven't seen in a long time.

Exercising is also a good thing to do when you wake up. Even a simple jogging around the house just to make your body's heated up and flexed will surely make you awake. You can also do some routines and try to apply it regularly so that you will be familiar with it. Sooner or later, exercising upon waking up will become second nature to you.

A bath in the morning goes well after your exercise and all that sweating. You could try soaking in something that is rejuvenating, like bath salts, or anything that'll make you feel energized. You can also turn on the radio and listen to some music. Choose music that is lively and fun, not those that'll doze you off, and try to sing along with it as well. Bathing wakes you up, making you feel clean and ready for the day ahead.
