Looking back to the days of Al Jolson, and other entertainers that have given America a utopia vision of California, I too see California as the ideal place.
By the time I was 20 years old I thought about California and being an amazing actor-Holly Wood start. Interesting enough by that time I also heard many horror stories of people that have made that trip only to end up waiting tables for 10 -20 years and give up on their dream.
The negative stories about failure in California pushed me in a corner that made me want to re-evaluate my choice of what I wanted to do. Interestingly enough I now through business relationships and a global business community visit anywhere I choose around the world.
If you can imagine, I have friends who kept that dream of California living and determined not to be an actor, or entertainer, but just decided to be successful in an area they have a passion. My California friends are making a difference and enjoying the tropical living of California, and squeezing all the juice out of it they can.
I have one friend, and business colleague who comes to mind that in many ways is my hero. He has a business that focuses on helping many people around the world to generating incomes that will provide freedom so they too can live the dream. He prides himself in transitioning people from their own form of hopelessness to the world of opportunity and leverage of the internet.
I met Alvin Lincoln in San Diego California at an internet marketing conference where I was a guest speaker. Alvin really grabbed my attention because he is a true picture of what it means to see dreams come true in a world where most die with their dreams still in them.
