Water: You must always keep a cleen bowl of water in the cage, and always remember to clean it several times a day, because Corn snakes (as with many other serpents) tend to defecate in their water. Also, be sure to check and remove skin because they soke and shed in their water.
Heating: Keeping the correct heating is very important when it comes to any reptile. The correct temperature should be about 70-85 F (21-29 C). An overhead incandescent light is also very important when it comes to your Corn snake. Corn snakes are from a temperate climate so they do not need tropical temperatures!
Now the most important is Feeding: Remember that the your Corn Snake should only be fed Pre-Killed small rats or tiny mice. Young Corn snakes should only be fed a couple of times a week, while the older Corn Snakes should be fed every week or 9or 10 days.
With all this being said - enjoy your corn snake! And if you need any more help with looking after it, visit the VideoJug website and watch their film on How To Care For Corn Snakes.
